Urban Infill INFILL 3 – BACK

The standout feature of this inspirationis a reversal of the traditional story configuration, with the bedrooms in the basement and ground floor, and the kitchen, dining room and office situated on the top floor. The first floor has a double-height master bedroom with a curtain glass wall looking out onto the street.

From the outside, the remarkable features are a large cantilever that forms a covering for the car port and smaller one extending from the living room to cover the entrance. Since the kitchen and dining area are on the top floor, we incorporated a service elevator from the main floor laundry room to the pantry on the upper floor. The social spaces have much more light because they are on the top floor, and natural light floods in through double-height living room windows.
